This remake of Mo. Susan Wilson will have all the great qualities of a Mormodia (Mo.) with showy flowers, high flower count, multi-spiking bulbs of pendulous inflorescences, nice fragrance, and long-lived blooms. Rebecca Northen 'Grapefruit Pink' produces 20 or more frilly, pink, fragrant flowers on each of 3-4 pendulous inflorescences from leafless bulbs in mid-winter. This revoluta has flowers with great color and stripes made up of a series of coalesced dots that form lines. In breeding with these species, the Mormodes is dominant for color and the Clowesia for shape. (Description from Fred Clarke)
