Ctsm. NEW HYBRID (Ctsm. Diana's Dots 'Super Good' x Ctsm. Dreamboat 'Dreamy')
Diana's Dots (Ctsm. tigrinum x Ctsm. Orchidglade) is a favorite breeders. The cultivar name 'Super Good' is very telling. Flowers have excellent color, size, shape, and count, and plants bloom multiple times each season. One of the reasons Diana's Dots has shapely flowers is due to the dominant flower shape from the species Ctsm. tigrinum. The flowers of Dreamboat (Ctsm. Penang x Ctsm. Chuck Taylor) are exceptional, with deep color and beautifully mottled full-shaped lips. The flowers from this cross will be rich burgundy and have large flat lips and broad segments, with 20 or more perfectly arranged flowers on arching inflorescences 2-3 times a season. (Thank you, Fred, for the description!)
